I took a 30 hour intensive course with Barry at riteway school of motoring, I had previously had 10 hours tuition last year with another school. I found Barry to be a very good instructor his lesson structure and the way he gave his lesssons were excellent and very informative, and the way he explained lessons I picked up quite easily. I would reccommend Barry as a driving instructor as he is highly professional and teaches in a modern manner that is effective. I passed my test first time.

Barry is the 3rd driving instructor I have been with. He is the only one who gave me the confidence to enjoy my driving experience and I passed my test on the first attempt. I had my first driving lesson with Barry on my 17th birthday and never looked back. He was very patient and always made sure that I understood what I was doing. Barry was always very professional and became a friend as well as a driving instructor. I passed the first time I took my practical test (approx. 6 months after starting, 1-2 hours a week) and wouldn't have been able to do it without the support, advice and confidence Barry had given me. I started learning with Barry at Riteway school of motoring earlier on in the year, previously I had been learning in the midlands where I lived. I had about 15 lessons with Barry and his teaching methods are logical and easy to follow and I passed in September.

I have had tuition from a number of driving instructors over the years and have failed my test previously on a couple of occasions. I was convinced I would never, ever pass my test but, due to a change of job, I needed to get my licence to get to work. I started taking lessons with Barry at the end of July 2009, I passed my test last week, Oct 2009. Barry was spot-on from day one, very patient and very good at explaining how things should be done and why. Barry had faith in my driving even though my confidence was zero.....I am still on a high a week after passing and it's all thanks to Barry......cheers mate!
